CARBARN | Suzuki Ertiga | After the Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia official gliding, the spotlight has shifted to its nearest competitor, the Suzuki.  News warm, Maruti-Suzuki-the number one car manufacturer in the country, will introduce a production prototype MPV R3 at the New Delhi Auto Expo, beginning next January. Interestingly, this MPV was named a very thick tongue Indonesia, namely Ertiga. The latest news about the MPV Ertiga come from India's media, Motoroid, citing Mayank Pareek, Maruti's Managing Executive Officer, about his new product.

This engine produces 95 PS power and 130 Nm of torque. Further, because consumers prefer diesel India, specially in the nation, Ertiga will use 1.3-liter diesel engine DDiS VGT Turbo which produces 90 PS power and 200 Nm of torque. What is also quite interesting, Ertiga wheelbase was longer than the Avanza-Xenia. If the duo Toyota and Daihatsu have a 2655 mm wheelbase, the Ertiga 2734 mm, with a total length of about 4,300 mm. These dimensions make Ertiga greater relief than the Avanza and Xenia, with a total length of 4140 mm.

Another interesting technical specifications, Ertiga will appear with the front wheels (Avanza-Xenia still rear wheel motion).  Although new to be launched by mid next year, leaked details of this MPV in India including detailed. For example, the MPV will rival the Toyota Innova in India will be  quipped with passive safety of air, and sold in six variants, namely LXi, VXI, ZXi, LDI, VDI, and ZDi. Moreover, wipers with rain sensor.  About the price, this MPV in India offered ranging from 700,000 rupees to 850,000 rupees or USD 121 million and Rp 150 million. The first time I saw the new Suzki Swift, I was a little surprised. Okay so it looked really cool, it wasn’t what I was expecting from the Japanese brand which really had forsaken Australia for some time. That was in 2005, when Suzuki launched the new Swift to much anticipation. Powered by a 1.5L engine the Suzuki Swift put out a small 74kW @ 6000rpm of power and 133Nm @ 4000rpm-4000rpm of Torque. The current swift costs anywhere between $16,000 to $20,000 plus onroads etc.

But come September, there is a new Swift. The Suzuki Swift Sport. Admitedly, its a far cry from the Suzuki Swift GTis of old but nonetheless, at least its something sporty. The Swift Sport will use a 1.6-litre twin cam engine which Suzuki claims is specially built just for the Sport model. It puts out around 123 horsepwer which is around 92kw.Current reports from Tokyo suggest that the new Suzuki Swift Sport gets a good deal of sports trimmings, and inside are high-backed red-and-black sport seats, a leather-trimmed wheel and choice of a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.

There isn’t much detail yet regarding the Suzuki Swift Sport, but come September when Suzuki unvail the car, you can bet all the specifications will get released. No prices for the Swift Sport are yet confirmed, but I would hope it stays below $25,000 to be a valuable car.

Presence of tachometer and latest MP3 CD player along with automatic options make it very comfortable for drivers and passengers. Suzuki Liana exterior has sparkling rear combination lamp, crystal head lamps, stylish chrome grill and full wheel caps. New Suzuki Liana Safety and Comfort Features Keyless entry with immobilizer technique provides maximum security and without original encoded ignition key you cannot start this car. Modern suspension system (front McPherson strut and coil spring) and Brakes (front ventilated discs and rear leading and trailing drum) along with Rack n P power steering gives you excellent handling and control. Anti lock braking system and central locking are also prominent features of Suzuki Liana.
